Rochester, NY (March 16, 2019) – Around 7:30 p.m. last night, three people were hospitalized following a serious two-car accident that took place on Lake Avenue in Rochester.
The accident happened near Holy Sepulchre Cemetery when a Volkswagen vehicle tried making a U-turn and was struck by a Jeep that was heading south on the same roadway. The Volkswagen was struck so forcefully that it came to a rest on its side.
The driver of the Volkswagen was identified as a 36-year-old from Irondequoit who was hospitalized due to pain from the crash. In the other vehicle, a 32-year-old woman and her daughter were also taken to the hospital with complaints of pain.
As of now, all parties are expected to recover. The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
