Cary, NY (March 16, 2019) – Accidents take place on our highways every day. These accidents tend to happen at high speeds, which means that they might lead to more severe results.
Police arrived at the scene of a car accident that happened in Cary this morning around 7:30 a.m. Two people were taken to the hospital after the accident.
The crash happened on Interstate 40 near the Aviation Parkway and involved at least four vehicles.
Law enforcement is investigating the accident as a hit-and-run, as at least one individual fled the scene following the crash. Within the hour, one lane was opened to traffic but the scene was not cleared completely for several hours.
