Canandaigua, NY (March 15, 2019) – Today, Friday, March 15, Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies announced the arrest of a man who allegedly raped a young girl several times last month. Police reported that 21-year-old Alan Wagenbaugh, of Canandaigua, was reported to have been arrested and charged with the rape of a 15-year-old girl.
According to deputies, Wagenbaugh has been charged with third-degree rape after being reported to have engaged in sexual intercourse with a minor multiple times against her will. The incidents were stated to have taken place within the course of one week in the Town of Hopewell.
While neither the name of the victim nor the exact details surrounding the case have been provided, Wagenbaugh was remanded to the Ontario County Jail without bail, according to police. The suspect is due back in court at a later date but no further information has been provided.
