Hilton, NY (March 14, 2019) – On Thursday afternoon, March 14th, police were called to the scene of a traffic collision that took place along Lake Avenue for reasons that have not been reported. According to authorities, the crash happened around 12:10 p.m. and prompted responses from both police and paramedics.
Dispatchers sent authorities to the crash site in the north and southbound lanes of Lake Avenue, just north of State Route 18, to evaluate the accident and assist any victims. Emergency medical crews were able to confirm that at least one person was hurt in the collision, which is believed to have involved no more than two vehicles.
Police have not reported on the number of people involved in the crash and the condition of those who were injured has not been stated. Authorities are actively involved in a thorough investigation into the incident at this time.
