Corinth, NY (March 13, 2019) – Two people were sent to the hospital after suffering injuries during a house fire that broke out on Wednesday morning, March 13th. According to authorities, the fire was first reported to have broken out around 3:30 a.m. at a home located on Walsh Road.
Firefighters and medical responder were immediately dispatched to the scene, where they arrived to see flames coming out of the back windows of the home. Five people were reported to be in the house as the fire rapidly spread to the second floor. All five people made it out alive; however, paramedics transported two individuals to a local hospital with at least minor injuries consistent with smoke inhalation.
At this time, authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into the fire in order to determine the exact cause. No further information has been reported.
