Binghamton, NY (March 13, 2019) – Endicott Police confirmed the arrest of a Binghamton man on Wednesday, March 13th, who has been charged with the sexual abuse of a minor. 38-year-old James Finsel was arrested at an unspecified time following an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse.
According to police, authorities had begun investigating Finsel for a sex crime that took place sometime between January and March of this year. The investigation ultimately showed that Finsel had subjected a child younger than 11-years-of-age to sexual contact. While details surrounding the specifics of the incident have not been provided, Finsel has been arrested.
Finsel is currently being charged with one count of sexual abuse, according to authorities. He was sent to the Broome County Jail, where he is being held without bail.
