Fleming, NY (March 12, 2019) – A motor vehicle collision that occurred on Monday morning, March 11th, resulting in one vehicle overturning at the scene and leading to the hospitalization of one woman. According to authorities, emergency medical crews were dispatched to the crash site around 7:45 a.m. where they came upon the victims’ overturned vehicle in a ditch off Route 34B.
The victim, identified as 67-year-old Karen Clark, of King Ferry, had been traveling in the vicinity of 4637 Route 34B, between Fleming Scipio Townline Road and Cork Street, when she went off the road for reasons that have not been confirmed. At this time, it is unknown as to whether or not any other parties were involved in the events that led to this crash.
Authorities did confirm, however, that Clark had been the sole occupant of the 2016 Toyota SUV that had rolled over during the accident. Emergency medical responders promptly transported Clark to a nearby hospital via ambulance where her injuries are currently believed to be non-life-threatening. The sheriff’s office is currently in charge of the investigation into this incident.
