Westchester, NY (March 10, 2019) – Around 8:15 a.m. on March 7th, police responded to a car accident that took place at a local intersection. One person was hospitalized.
Police say that the accident happened at the intersection of Kathy Lane and Post Road. The man was attempting to change lanes but had to swerve out of the way because another vehicle started coming through the intersection.
The driver then became involved in a serious accident that caused them to strike a stone wall. After striking the wall, the vehicle overturned and came to rest on its roof.
The 20-year-old driver, whose name has not yet been released, was hospitalized with injuries that were not considered life-threatening in nature.
Police continue their investigation of the accident at this time.
