Copake, NY (March 7, 2019) – An 18-year-old man has been charged with class-A misdemeanor sexual misconduct on Thursday, March 7th, according to authorities. Following an investigation, the New York State Police from the Livingston barracks ultimately made the arrest at an unspecified time.
Relatives of the victim were reported to have alerted the authorities, who immediately began an investigation into the incident. The investigation, which was led by State Police, along with the Columbia County Child Advocacy Center, determined that the suspect had engaged in a course of sexual misconduct with a victim under 16 years of age.
