Buffalo, NY (March 7, 2019) – A man was reported to have stolen a police car on Wednesday night, March 6th, ultimately leading to a chase that ended in a car crash that resulted in injuries. The incident began on a local intersection around 6:30 p.m., according to local authorities.
Police stated that the unidentified man stole a police car in the area of Marilla Street and South Park Avenue, which led to a short pursuit. The driver of the stolen car ultimately crashed into another vehicle before also striking a house. Emergency medical crews and police were immediately at the scene.
According to paramedics, at least one person suffered injuries that have been classified as non-life-threatening at this time. However, police have reported on whether or not the suspect or an innocent party were the ones to suffer injuries. No further information has been released.
