Rochester, NY (March 6, 2019) – Police and paramedics were summoned to the area of Highway 31 and Lyell Avenue in response to a motor vehicle collision that was reported to have happened on Wednesday morning, March 6th. According to authorities, the time of the crash has been listed at around 9:06 a.m., although police have not determined the cause at this time.
Emergency medical crews arrived at the crash site in the eastbound/westbound lanes of the highway, just west of Lyell Avenue, to render aid to any victims. At the scene, they were able to confirm that at least one person had suffered injuries, although the extent of those wounds has not been verified at this time.
Authorities have not released any information to negate the belief that no more than two vehicles were involved, however, the total number of people in the crash has not been stated. The events that led to this incident are currently under investigation and no further details have been provided.
