Bristol, NY (March 5, 2019) – A woman was reported to have been struck by a snow plow on Saturday night, March 2nd, and police have arrested the man culpable. The incident occurred at around 10:45 p.m. along Ganyard Hill Road, according to police.
42-year-old Christopher Padden, of Canandaigua, was stated to have been traveling along the aforementioned road in a Ford F-350 pickup truck with a plow when he struck a woman in the area. The incident was reported to have followed a domestic dispute, subsequently resulting in Padden’s arrest.
Emergency medical crews and police responded to the scene to assess the incident and render aid to the injured woman, although her current condition has not been released. Padden was arrested for an aggravated family offense following a domestic incident, as well as felony DWI. The identity of the victim has not been provided.
