West Babylon, NY (March 3, 2019) – Police responded to a hit-and-run pedestrian accident that led to serious injuries in West Babylon this morning. The pedestrian has since been hospitalized.
Officials responded to the area of Little and Great East Neck Roads around 1:30 a.m. in response to the accident involving a pedestrian and a motor vehicle. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene after striking the pedestrian.
The victim’s name has not been released but it has been determined that the man’s injuries are not life-threatening.
Police are still searching for the driver responsible. At this time, their investigation into the matter continues.
