Moped and motorcycle accidents in New York can be extremely serious crashes when they take place with other motor vehicles. In New York, every year, around 1,600 people are hospitalized for serious motorcycle accidents that take place at the hands of negligent parties. The reason why these accidents are so injurious and deadly is the fact that motorcyclists have very few protections on our roadways. This means that they can obtain significant harm if they are up against a motor vehicle driver.
