Burke, NY (March 2, 2019) – A Malone woman was injured in a car accident that took place on State Route 11. Police say that she was taken to the hospital for injuries.
At the time, 49-year-old Kellie Bombard had been driving her 2004 Subaru Legacy along State Route 11, headed northeast, when she was suddenly involved in an accident. Police say that road conditions were not at their best at the time.
The vehicle drove off the southeast shoulder of the road after the collision, where it then struck a guardrail and spun, before coming to a rest facing the opposite direction.
Bombard was the only person who was injured and was taken to the hospital with complaints of chest pain.
At this time, police investigate the circumstances of the accident.
