Harrison, NY (February 26, 2019) – According to authorities, a vehicle which did not pull over after police attempted to stop it on Tuesday, February 26, crashed following a subsequent chase. The incident was reported to have begun when police attempted to pull over suspects in a Honda CRV, although the driver failed to comply. The incident started at Hutchinson River Parkway, near Mamaroneck Avenue, in the White Plains section of the city.
The vehicle then continued across both lanes of Westchester Avenue, slammed into a fence, and flipped over, eventually coming to a rest along the small median in the vicinity of the right lane near the eastbound lane of the I-287. Emergency medical crews were immediately dispatched to the scene, where both parties inside the Honda were quickly taken to Westchester Medical Center.
It was not reported as to whether or not there were any other victims as the entire incident is currently under investigation at this time.
