East Patchogue, NY (February 24, 2019) – Pedestrian accidents take place every day in New York, some of which are minor in nature and some that cause life-threatening and even fatal results.
In East Patchogue, police responded to a pedestrian accident that led to a fatality early this morning, February 24, around 2:30 a.m.
According to police, the accident took place on the Montauk Highway and Orchard Road at the intersection. Police are not sure what caused the pedestrian and the vehicle to collide so early in the morning.
Police have not confirmed whether or not any charges were filed. The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
