Brighton, NY (February 22, 2019) – Police were immediately dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle collision that was reported to have taken place on Friday, February 22 in the town of Brighton. The crash happened at around 12:26 p.m. in both the north and southbound lanes of Clay Road for reasons that are likely under investigation at this time.
Dispatchers sent police along with emergency medical crews to the scene along the aforementioned road at East Henrietta Road to render aid to any injured parties. According to paramedics, at least one person had been injured as a result of the collision, although there have been no details released concerning the severity of those injuries.
While no more than two vehicles are believed to have been involved in the accident, police have not stated the number of parties who were at the crash site. At this time, the events that led to this crash are still being determined as this is a developing story.
