Yorktown, NY (February 23, 2019) – Police responded to a DUI accident in Yorktown that led to injuries. The accident took place around 10:20 p.m. on February 20 this past week.
Police arrested 23-year-old Madelin Bu Munoz for driving while intoxicated and failing to keep right. They initially received a call from a resident in the area of Hanover Street who claimed that there had been an accident near the intersection with Montress Road.
When officers arrived at the scene, Munoz had been driving a Hyundai south on Hanover when the vehicle was involved in an accident and then struck a tree.
Police say that one person received head and leg injuries in the accident. At this time, they continue their investigation into the accident.
