We would like to take this time to extend our thoughts to the loved ones of the man who lost his life in this needless accident and wish them peace during such a tragic time. Between the years 2012 and 2014, it was reported that 1,098 fatalities took place on New York roadways. Many of these accidents took place due to the negligence of others, while many happened due to drunk drivers. Drunk driving can be one of the most dangerous types of driving on our roads because lives can be taken in the blink of an eye when someone’s perception and reflexes are drastically changed. If you have lost someone close to you in a fatal New York DUI accident, you have rights and protections under the law.
