Arkwright, NY (February 14, 2019) – A woman had to be hospitalized after she was reported to have caught on fire during an incident that took place on Thursday morning, February 14. The injurious accident happened at around 7:00 a.m., in the vicinity of a home near the Arkwright Hills Campground, according to authorities.
While many details are scarce at this time, it was reported that a woman had been on fire at the aforementioned location, prompting responses from police and emergency medical crews. Paramedics quickly transported the woman to a nearby hospital in the city of Buffalo to be treated for third-degree burns on more than 75 percent of her body.
At this time, the condition of the victim is not known. Police are actively working to determine the events that led to this incident in order to determine whether it was intentional, accidental, self-inflicted, or caused by an unknown party.
