Livingston, NY (February 12, 2019) – A drunk driver was subsequently arrested on Sunday, February 10, after crashing into a home on County Route 10 and injuring the passenger in his vehicle. Police reported that 30-year-old Kevin W. Jornov Jr., of Kinderhook, caused the accident that occurred at around 3:05 p.m. in the town of Livingston.
Troopers who responded to the crash site stated that Jornov had been driving a 2014 Ford Escape while intoxicated and went off the road before crashing into the garage of a house on County Route 10. Police and paramedics arrived at the scene, where they transported Jornov’s passenger to Albany Medical Center with injuries that have been classified as minor.
The current condition of the victim has not been stated and their identity has not been provided at this time. Jornov was ultimately arrested for DWI with a blood-alcohol content of 0.18 percent, more than twice the legal limit. No further information has been provided.
