Rochester, NY (February 4, 2019) – Police have now released the identity of the man who was tragically killed in a crash involving four vehicles on Sunday afternoon, February 3. 29-year-old Eric Jones, of Greece, sadly lost his life in an accident that happened at around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Hudson Avenue and Norton Street.
According to authorities, witnesses stated that one vehicle was T-boned by another at the intersection. Willie Thomas, who had been traveling behind one of the vehicles involved, said that a white car went through the intersection when it was hit by an SUV.
Emergency medical crews were immediately called to the scene along with police in order to assist the victims. Thomas spoke to one of the passengers before attempting to talk to the driver who did not respond. Jones was declared dead at the scene as three other parties were immediately hospitalized. Authorities are actively investigating the events that led to this accident.
