Rochester, NY (February 4, 2019) – On Monday, February, 4, police in Rochester reported that a man is a currently recovering after being struck by a vehicle. The serious pedestrian accident was reported to have happened at around 6:00 p.m. Sunday night, February 3, at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and West Main Street.
According to police, a pedestrian, who has only been identified as a 31-year-old man, was hit by a vehicle at the intersection for reasons that have not yet been determined. Police responded to the crash site along with emergency medical crews who quickly attended to the injured party.
The victim was reported to have sustained injuries that have been classified as non-life-threatening at this time. He was immediately rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital to be treated. It is currently unclear as to whether or not the driver involved remained at the scene as the accident is actively under investigation at this time.
