Greece, NY (February 4, 2019) – On Monday afternoon, February 4, police were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that took place at an intersection in the town of Greece. The collision happened at around 1:26 p.m., according to authorities who currently believe that no more than two vehicles were involved.
The collision was reported to have happened in both the eastbound and westbound lanes of Latta Road at Long Pond Road for reasons that are presently under investigation. Emergency medical crews were sent to the crash site along with police to evaluate the accident and render aid to any victims.
According to paramedics who arrived at the scene, at least one person was hurt due to the impact of the accident. However, the condition of that person has not been released at this time.
No further information has been made available in regards to those involved or the cause of the incident.
