Brooklyn, NY (February 2, 2019) – In Brooklyn around 12:21 a.m. this morning, a pedestrian accident led to serious injuries in one person when they were struck by a vehicle.
According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of Nostrand Avenue and Empire Boulevard. A pedestrian was struck when a sedan came through the area and ran into them.
The sedan that struck the pedestrian had PA license plates and remained at the scene. Witnesses said that it appeared as if the pedestrian broke their leg and was knocked unconscious. EMS arrived to the scene and rushed the pedestrian to the hospital in stable condition, but their condition is not known at this time.
At this time, an investigation into the accident continues.
