Buffalo, NY (February 2, 2019) – Police reported that two individuals were killed in a fatal accident that took place due to bad weather in Elba early this morning. The New York State Police responded to the accident.
The accident took place earlier today when a vehicle was headed northbound on State Route 98 and was involved in an accident. The weather conditions were poor at the time, which caused the vehicle to lose control.
After the vehicle lost control on the icy roads, it turned sideways and was instantly T-boned by a pickup truck. Two occupants of the vehicle died at the scene of the accident.
Police reported that the driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries but he is expected to be okay.
The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
