Olean, NY (January 27, 2019) – On Monday around 4:15 p.m., injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident that took place at a local intersection in police and prompted police.
The accident, according to Olean Police, happened at the intersection of West State and North 20th streets. The accident allegedly took place when 59-year-old Gayle Rockey reportedly struck the rear-end of a vehicle being driven by 61-year-old Gregory Boyer of Bowling Green.
Boyer had been stopped at a red light when the accident took place. There were many damages reported as a result of the accident.
Rockey complained of knee pain at the scene and was checked out before being taken to the hospital. Police confirmed that he was the only one who received damages in the accident.
Police continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
