Ephratah, NY (January 26, 2019) – Police reported that one person lost their life in a snowmobile accident that took place this morning around 1:30 a.m.
Police responded to the area behind the Ephratah Gun Club on Route 67 to find that a snowmobiler was seriously injured after being involved in an accident. The snowmobiler was identified as 27-year-old Adam Kline of Johnstown. First responders immediately found him and started to give aid.
Kline was transported to the hospital and was pronounced dead while there. Kline had been leading a group of five individuals on their snowmobiles.
When the others found him, they said that he was on the ground with his sled nearby. The investigation into the accident is still in its early stages at this time.
