Geneseo, NY (January 23, 2019) – A farm accident tragically claimed the life of a man who was working at the time, according to authorities. The fatal pedestrian accident occurred on Wednesday morning, January 23, while the victim, identified as 63-year-old Kenneth Hall, was working at Dairy Knoll Farms in the town of Geneseo at approximately 10:00 a.m.
According to authorities, an unidentified man from Penn Yann had been driving a pickup truck on the property at the time of the incident. Unfortunately, the driver collided with Hall for reasons that have not been determined. Livingston County EMS arrived at the scene along with state troopers and attempted to save Hall but they were sadly unsuccessful.
Hall was stated to be an employee of the farm as fellow workers also attempted to save him before authorities arrived. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by local law enforcement. No charges have been filed.
