Vestal, NY (January 22, 2019) – An accident involving a vehicle and a tractor-trailer was reported to have taken place on Tuesday morning, January 22. Local police stated that the crash happened at the intersection of Route 26 and Hazel Drive in the town of Vestal at around 8:30 a.m.
An initial investigation has shown that the driver of the car involved may have failed to yield the right of way to a tractor-trailer, subsequently resulting in the accident. Nevertheless, the details concerning the cause if this accident are currently under investigation.
Emergency personnel were called to the scene along with police, and authorities were able to confirm that the driver of the car had to be treated for chest pain. At this time, the specific condition of the victim is unknown as the events that led to this incident remain unclear.
