Schuyler Falls, NY (January 19, 2019) – Police say that three people received injuries in a two-vehicle accident that took place on the Military Turnpike intersection with Irish Settlement Road.
At the time, 55-year-old Timothy Emmons was traveling south in his 2014 Silverado when he failed to stop at a red light at the intersection. His vehicle collided with a 2017 Chevy Malibu headed eastbound. 54-year-old Michael Criss was identified as the driver.
Criss and two of his passengers were taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries. Criss suffered from neck pain and his wife suffered from chest pain. A 3-year-old in the vehicle sustained an arm injury.
Emmons did not receive injuries but was ticketed for failing to stop at a red light and driving without a license.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to this accident.
