Gates, NY (January 18, 2019) – On Friday afternoon, January 18, police were called to the scene of a traffic collision that was reported to have happened along Highway 31 in the town of Gates. Authorities stated that the accident took place at around 3:27 p.m., and is currently believed to have involved no more than two vehicles.
Emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the crash site in both the east and westbound lanes of Highway 31 between Harcourt Road and Lee Road. The collision occurred for reasons that are currently unknown.
Paramedics at the scene were able to confirm that at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the impact, however, the condition of that patient has not been released. Police are likely to be involved in a thoroughly detailed investigation into the events that led to this incident at this time.
