Ontario County, NY (January 17, 2019) – Deputies reported that a collision between two vehicles took place at the intersection of State Route 5 and Buffalo Street Extension on Wednesday morning, January 16, at approximately 7:59 a.m. According to authorities, the accident happened when one vehicle rear-ended another at the aforementioned location in Canandaigua.
Police stated that 47-year-old Stephanie Labarge, of Canandaigua, had been traveling eastbound along State Route 5 when she stopped to make a left turn onto Buffalo Street Extension. 30-year-old Kevin Patanella, of Caledonia, then failed to observe Labarge’s vehicle and crashed into her.
Deputies stated that paramedics who arrived at the scene quickly transported Labarge to F.F. Thompson Hospital via Canandaigua Ambulance to be treated for a back injury. No further information has been released at this time.
