Rochester, NY (January 16, 2019) – On Wednesday morning, January 16, three people were reported to have suffered serious injuries after the driver of a vehicle they were in crashed along Westfield Street in Rochester. Police stated that the injurious accident took place at around 1:30 a.m. for reasons that have not been confirmed.
According to authorities, the driver of a vehicle who has not been identified went off the roadway and crashed into a tree at the above-noted time. Although authorities have not confirmed the cause of the collision, police stated that alcohol is currently believed to have been a factor.
Paramedics were dispatched to the scene along with police in order to attend to the incident and assist three passengers who suffered injuries. All three passengers sustained injuries that have currently been classified as non-life-threatening at this time. Charges have not yet been filed against the driver as details concerning the events that led to the accident have not emerged from the investigation.
