Lewis, NY (January 12, 2019) – In Lewis, a two-car accident led to the hospitalization of three different people. The accident might have happened when one person lost control of their vehicle.

At the time, 46-year-old Heidi Iten was traveling northbound on Route 9 when she suddenly lost control of her Focus. She then veered into a Corolla that was occupied by two residents, identified as Nancy and Donald Miller.

Miller had been waiting to enter the road from the end of a driveway. It is believed that Iten lost control of her vehicle when she was traveling at unsafe speeds and traveling on wheels that were not made for wet road conditions.

All of those involved were taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries including bruising to the face, a variety of contusions, and a possible back fracture.
