Fort Edward, NY (January 11, 2019) – A house fire that was reported to have occurred in Fort Edward and resulted in the injuries of one individual is currently under investigation by authorities. According to police dispatchers, the fire was reported at around 11:50 p.m. at a home located on East Street.
The Fort Edward Fire Department stated that one person had been trapped inside the house when firefighters arrived at the scene. Emergency medical crews who were called to the scene of the incident were reported to have transported the injured victim to a local hospital. The conditions of the patient have not been released at this time.
Authorities stated that the blaze had been put out by 1:00 a.m. Police are actively conducting a thorough investigation in order to determine the cause of the fire.
