Plattsburg, NY (January 10, 2019) – Thursday morning, January 10, a motor vehicle accident took place along Felton Road in Plattsburg that left one person injured at the scene. The accident was stated to have occurred at around 11:10 a.m. and caused the roadway to be closed down for an unspecified amount of time.
Police were dispatched to the location of the crash along with Peru and Morrisonville EMS crews to assist the driver of a vehicle who ended up crashed into a telephone pole for unknown reasons. The unidentified female driver of the vehicle was rescued from the accident and immediately taken to University of Vermont Health Network, Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital to be treated.
The condition of the victim is unknown at this time, however, authorities confirmed that she suffered head lacerations. The identity of the victim has not been released at this time as police are currently investigating the cause of this accident.
