Dryden, NY (January 10, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident that took place on Tuesday morning, January 8, has been reported to be responsible for at least several minor injuries. The crash, which involved five vehicles altogether happened a little before 7:00 a.m. in the town of Dryden, near the Village of McLean.
Police were dispatched to the scene on East Malloryville Road along with the McLean Fire Department to assist the victims and evaluate the collision. According to Tompkins County dispatchers, the accident is believed to have possibly been caused by unsafe road conditions.
Dryden Ambulance, as well as the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office quickly arrived at the scene to provide assistance. It is currently unclear as to how many people required medical attention either at the scene or a nearby hospital, however, at least minor injuries were confirmed to have been sustained by an unspecified number of people.
Authorities are presently involved in a detailed investigation into this incident as no further information has been made available.
