Volney, NY (January 5, 2019) – This past week, an intersection accident led to injuries in one person. The accident took place on SR-481 in Volney and involved two vehicles.
Police say that 42-year-old Jeremy Rupert was operating a Chevrolet near the intersection with March Road when he lost control of his vehicle. This caused him to collide with a 2013 Honda that was stopped on the road facing east. The driver was quickly identified as 49-year-old Ann Wallace.
Rupert received a UTT for failing to reduce his speed under special hazard. One person was injured but police say that all parties are expected to be okay.
At this time, their investigation into the matter continues.
