Brooklyn, NY (January 6, 2019) – Around 7:30 p.m. the other night, a pedestrian accident took place that led to severe trauma. The accident happened at an intersection in Brooklyn.
Police say that the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at Utica Avenue and Lenox Road. The pedestrian was then dragged by the driver of the Ford Focus and suffered a traumatic brain injury.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported the victim to the hospital with critical injuries. NYPD highway was on scene and an investigation into the matter continues at this time. The driver of the other vehicle stayed at the scene of the accident.
Police continue their investigation into the matter at this time.
