East Avon, NY (January 3, 2019) – Police were called to the scene of a traffic collision that was reported to have taken place along Route 20 in the town of Avon on Thursday afternoon, January 3, according to authorities. The crash was stated to have happened at approximately 3:49 p.m. and at least minor injuries were reported.
According to officials who arrived at the scene, the collision, which is believed to have taken place between no more than two vehicles, happened in the eastbound/westbound lanes of US Route 20 between Interstate 390 and Heath Markham Road. Police were dispatched along with paramedics to render aid to the victim or victims and evaluate the damages.
Although emergency medical professionals were able to verify that at least one person suffered injuries during the collision, there has been no mention of the extent of any wounds. Police are likely to be engaged in a detailed investigation into the events that led to this incident.
