Rochester, NY (December 29, 2018) – A 68-year-old man was involved in a car accident with a Rochester Police Officer that took place this morning, December 29, around 9:30 p.m.
The Rochester resident, whose name has not yet been released, had been traveling westbound on Clay Avenue when he struck a Rochester Police patrol car heading north on Dewey Avenue.
The driver of the other vehicle received injuries and was taken to the Parkridge Hospital. The officer, luckily, did not receive injuries in the accident.
Police say that charges are pending and they continue to investigate the accident at this time.
