Manhattan, NY (December 29, 2018) – Police say that a driver received serious injuries in an accident that took place on the Brooklyn Bridge this afternoon around 3:30 p.m.
Police claimed that the accident was a “close call” to the driver, who almost went right off the side of the bridge. The accident took place on the Manhattan side, according to FDNY. The front right wheel of the car was seen hanging off the side when they arrived.
One person was transported to the Bellevue Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries and are expected to be okay.
Police are still investigating what caused the vehicles to collide.
