Niagara, NY (December 26, 2018) – The man who tragically died in a motorcycle accident with a motor vehicle on Monday evening, December 24, has been identified as the acting fire captain with the Niagara Falls Fire Department, 51-year-old Carl ‘Keifer’ Stahlman. The fatal accident was reported to have occurred at around 5:00 p.m. on Fashion Outlet Boulevard, in the vicinity of Military.
According to authorities who were called to the scene, the accident took place as Stahlman was exiting the Fashion Outlets Mall on a motorcycle. Stahlman’s motorcycle was struck by another vehicle operated by a 19-year-old woman from Grand Island. The impact of the collision was reported to have ejected Stahlman from the bike.
Paramedics and police were immediately called to the scene in order to assist the victim and evaluate the damages. Tragically, Stallman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Town of Niagara Police are currently in charge of the investigation into this incident. No further details have been provided at this time.
