Manhattan, NY (December 23, 2018) – In Manhattan yesterday around 2:15 a.m., two vehicles were involved in a serious car accident that sent one flying into a guardrail on FDR Drive. The accident took place in the northbound lanes of traffic.
NYPD and FDNY Rescue were called to the scene through 911 to find that three occupants were trapped inside the vehicle. Within a matter of minutes, emergency responders were able to pull the three from the vehicle.
Multiple ambulances responded to the scene to take the passengers to various hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Unfortunately, we do not know their names or conditions at this time.
Police continue their investigation into the accident.
