Mendon, NY (December 17, 2018) – Police responded to a call concerning a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Monday afternoon, December 17, in the area of Boughton Hill Road and Mendon Ionia Road. The crash believed to be between no more than two cars was reported to have taken place at around 2:24 p.m., according to authorities.
Dispatchers sent police to the scene of the accident in both the eastbound and westbound lanes of Boughton Hill Road at Mendon Ionia Road. Paramedics were also dispatched in order to provide aid to any victims. Responders reported that at least one person suffered wounds during the crash, however, the extent of injuries is unclear at this time.
The events that led to this collision have not been determined as police are likely to be involved in an investigation. There has been no further information reported.
