West Monroe, NY (December 9, 2018) – Around 4:00 p.m.last week, 67-year-old Lorraine Houck was involved in a two-car collision that led to serious injuries on CR-37.
At the time, Houck had been driving her 2015 Ford when she attempted to make a left-hand turn onto another roadway. This caused her vehicle to collide with a 2000 Dodge pickup that was traveling south and being operated by 30-year-old Brian Hummell Jr.
Houck and Hummell were transported by ambulance to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse. Houck was issued a ticket for failing to yield the right-of-way.
Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
