Staten Island, NY (December 8, 2018) – On Staten Island, police reported that two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash. They were transported to an area hospital immediately after the crash.
The accident took place this afternoon around 12:15 p.m. when two vehicles collided at an intersection, leaving two people with injuries that required treatment at the Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze.
The accident took place at the intersection of Hylan Boulevard and Ebbitts Street. Police were on the scene during and after the accident to investigate.
Police say that a blue Volkswagen Jetta was observed with significant front-end damages and airbags deployed. Injuries were not expected to be life-threatening.
