North Amityville, NY (December 7, 2018) – A raging house fire broke out at a home on South Ronald Drive Wednesday night, December 5, that resulted in four people suffering injuries. According to local authorities, a total of six fire departments responded to the fire at around 10:15 p.m.
Police in North Amityville along with firefighters and paramedics arrived on the scene to battle the blaze and render aid to anyone who may have been hurt. Firefighters reported four people who sustained injuries, however, it was not verified as to whether or not any of the injured parties were hospitalized.
Authorities stated that all injuries appear to be minor at this time. The cause of the fire is currently unknown as investigators are working to determine the events that led to this incident.
